We had a lovely time aboard the Balmoral boat last week. Spacious, had everything you needed and was such a relaxing break with some lovely quiet spots to stop along the way. Great service, lots of information about the route and timings and we'd definitely do it again stopping at different places on the way next time.

Stayed in the houseboat lovely and quiet. Boat was so spacious an clean great views.

Excellent service, staff are very professional and knowledgeable, boat really clean, cant recommend then enough, this was our first time hiring from Caley, will definately hire again...........brilliant.

Caley Cruisers is an amazing company - very professional and they provided great support from start to finish. Lots of useful information sent before we picked up our boat (the Eriskay), this let us plan our journey in advance and learn everything we needed to know such as knots, speed limits etc!
The staff were all so friendly and supportive. The boat was beautiful - lots of room for the two of us!
On arrival we had an hour handover where we were shown how everything works on the boat and taken for a short practise run! This really helped my confidence as everything was explained very clear!
We hired the boat from Friday to Monday so we had plenty time to travel from Inverness through the canal and out onto Loch Ness, first night Urquhart Bay (a great place to spent the first night with restaurants and good pubs just a short walk), second day we travelled to Fort Augustus (again lots of great cafes, shops, restaurants and pubs). We travelled back and spent our final night at Dochgarroch (Great cafe and gift shop here and Highland cows in season). The scenery the full way was incredible.
There was always plenty of space to moor for the night. We found people to be helpful especially the lock keepers who helped us navigate our way through the locks. Caley cruisers kept us up to date with the weather too which was really helpful!
Everything was perfect and we have made memories that will last a lifetime! Can’t recommend Caley Cruisers enough!

Best time .My husband n I do the Trent Severn n Rideau .but our Balmoral boat was a dream and Hubby loved driving it .great time for our Friends 70 th .I want to come back .the locks n scenery was fantastic ...

Out with the guys who work there Great indepth tour of the boats, the canal the the mooring great for any inthudiast, got to drive the boat 😛
